It was a small but enthusiastic bunch that fronted to Beverley for Sunday's "spirited practice" day. A bit thanks to the VMXWA club for organising the day - there were almost as many officials as riders . Hopefully we'll see some photos get posted in the gallery soon... won't we chaps? |

Get the bikes out of the shed! The VMX club has organised a ride day on Oct 8 at the Beverley MX track for pre-85 bikes. It will be classed as a practice day, so if you don't have a MWA licence you can take out a one-day recreational licence for $15. Total cost, including the rec licence will be $40 per rider.
Bikes will need to pass scrutineering, so tighten them spokes and plug them bars! Scrutineering & sign-on will start around 08:30, so don't sleep-in. |

When Roger DeCoster puts
his stamp of approval on something, you'd better believe that it sells. He is,
after all, one of the most admired and imitated figures in motorcycling history,
a living legend who can back up his high-powered charisma with five world
motocross championships. So when the eminent DeCoster publicly declares, as he
has in recent advertisements, that Suzuki's new RM motocrossers are as good as
the factory race bikes, it is virtually guaranteed to send legions of
starry-eyed moto-prodigies swarming through Suzuki showrooms like ants at the
company picnic.
